destiny searches
Destiny is Delview’s Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). It is a computerized database of the library's holdings such as books, journals, DVD's, videos, CDs, etc. OPAC indexes the library resources and stores records for them. Destiny may be accessed via the Delview library site.
All Delta public schools have the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog software) software available to search the library database. The OPAC software is developed by a company called Follett.
You can do all kinds of searches with Destiny, but the most common are Basic and Power. The Opening Screen of the Catalog allows you to choose the type of search you wish to conduct. In most cases you will use the Basic search, which allows you to choose Title, Author, Subject, Keyword, and Series icons.
