Shelving
Shelving is a very important job in a library. All library personnel at Delview, including the teacher-librarians, shelve books and shelf read. Proper shelving allows the library user to find what s/he is looking for. The library users are our clients and our job is to make their visit to the library a satisfactory one.
Shelf Reading
DVD's
DVDs are signed out primarily by teachers. You may be asked to re-shelve them in the Teacher Reference room. Non-fiction videos are shelved according to the Dewey number, fiction videos are shelved in a separate section by the first three letters of the author's last name.
